We’re Delighted To Be Involved To Be Involved With Inspire Youth Zone!

Inspire Youth Zone is due to open on Saturday 5th May to the young people of Chorley as the building work is now complete!

The Youth Zone includes several amenities such as an underground football pitch, a climbing wall, dance studio and many more, making it an extremely exciting place for Chorley’s young adults.

We were delighted to be involved in such an amazing project and work with the inspiring young people. Our team carried out sessions, working closely with the young people and worked together to create design ideas for the logo and hoardings that are displayed on the Youth Zone’s exterior.

Janine Blythe, Chief Executive said: “We are delighted that building work at Inspire Youth Zone is now complete, people will now be able to physically see the vision become a reality for the young people of Chorley. It promises to be an inspiring place that provides the town’s young people with somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to.”

Almost 600 young people have already signed up as members… such an exciting time for Chorley’s youth!

Russian Hackers Accused Of Recent Cyber-Attacks… Are You Protected?

There have recently been millions of malicious cyber-attacks on a large number of networks, including the government offices and national services such as the NHS. People are being urged to check their security and network infrastructure and ensure their anti-virus software is up to date, together with updating passwords.

It has recently come to light that Russia may be to blame for such cyber-attacks, by using routers connecting people’s homes and offices to spy on the information on them, collating data and passwords.

These malicious attacks aren’t just targeting the UK either, but the US too. The US and UK have released the following joint statement: “Specifically, these cyber-exploits were directed at network infrastructure devices worldwide such as routers, switches, firewalls, network intrusion detection system,” it said.

“Russian state-sponsored actors are using compromised routers to conduct spoofing ‘man-in-the-middle’ attacks to support espionage, extract intellectual property, maintain persistent access to victim networks and potentially lay a foundation for future offensive operations.

“The current state of US and UK network devices, coupled with a Russian government campaign to exploit these devices, threatens our respective safety, security, and economic wellbeing.”

Due to the high number of cyber-attacks, and the large scale of these attacks, it’s highly recommended to increase server security to give as much protection as possible, have backups of your files and avoid using weak passwords.

If you want to discuss our care and maintenance plans, or wish to request a free security scan of your website, please don’t hesitate to contact us on 0800 014 8030 or email *protected email*.
